Tribe Building II

Mr Batson is up to it again.  The second challenge is starting up today and I've decided to participate again.  I'd be glad to have any members that would like to be on this tribe again with us, but if you'd like to change or not do the challenge altogether, that is fine as well.
The strategy for Swiftstorm this go around is going to be slightly different, and we will most likely not be using this blog address again, though it has definitely served it's purpose.  If you'd like to re-join please email me. Or if you'd like to talk to me about anything related to the challenge-or something not related-you can email me at smr411@gmail.com

If I haven't said it before, you guys-and gals-are an awesome tribe.  We couldn't have made third without you.

Yours truly,
Seth,

Goodbye, or maybe not?

Two days ago Mr Batson posted the standings.  And, to tell the truth, I was a bit disappointed.  Not in any of Swiftstorms members-by no means that-, I couldn't ask for a better tribe.  But I had thought by conversing with other tribes that we had possible victory in hand.  But nonetheless we didn't.  We came in third.  Silvertree second, Nighwing first.  I think it is possible that we could have second, however, we get the same prizes whether we be in second, third, or fourth, so I'm going to let Silvertree enjoy their victory over us.
So, it has come to the end of tribe building.  And while I lament over the end of being your tribe leader, I'm also filled with joy at how well my tribe did, you guys did awesome!  But, like I said in the title of this post "maybe not?", it may not be over.  I have taken the liberty of emailing Mr Batson about a possible sequel to the Tribe Building game.  I have not received a response.  However, if he responds with an affirmative YES then I'm going to see if I can get some perks for Swiftstorm as well as other tribes.  Such as getting to keep the name SWIFTSTORM for the next contest.  Or being able to start recruiting now instead of waiting till the game starts.

So, my question to you in this final post-for now- is, if there is a second tribe building challenge, will you join SWIFTSTORM again and give us a second chance.

Seth,

Here is a letter Mr Batson sent to Swiftstorm:

To Seth and Tribe Swiftstorm

I will be posting the final results for the Tribe Building Contest on my blog and on the Underground, FB and everywhere else....tonight.

Without focusing on Win/Loss, I just wanted to say thank you. On behalf of a mission that is much bigger than Wayne Batson or Christopher Hopper writing books, you and your team came through BIG TIME. The seeds you have planted here may well lead hundreds of people and beyond a few steps closer to the Lord, and where from there? Ah, in Heaven, I bet we'll all find out.

I don't know, but I can guess how busy your lives already are. I know all of this took tons of extra time and effort. And, well…I want you to know I appreciate your effort so much. I feel like, in a way, we've gone to battle together.

So for now, I lift my sword in your honor. Well fought!

Never alone.

Swiftstorm Update

In case some of you don't follow WTB's blog, he recently posted the standings.

1st=Nightwing
2nd=Silvertree
3rd=Swiftstorm
(that's all that really applies to Swiftstorm at the moment)

Now, after speaking to the leader of Silvertree have knowledge that we have a pretty good chance at winning this thing. This is what I ask of each member, and don't be afraid to go above and beyond ;). I ask that every member in the tribe earns 2000 points! That may seem like a lot, but that's four reviews, one video(that needs to be posted in TWO places) or a variety of combination's. While I can't guarantee this will give us victory, it will certainly help a lot.

Before this report from my totals Swiftstorm had 450k(that may be wrong, I haven't gone through all the reports and verified it). This report accounted for 72000 Vanadils! That is awesome! According to logic we would be in the lead from the leaderboards Mr Batson posted, he said that the difference between 1st and 3rd was 10-20k. But there's still a week ahead of us, when Silvertree, Shadowtear, and Nightwing will be avidly gaining points. We need to mimic them, except get more.

So, without anymore blabbing, I will close by telling you the leading number of points. That number of points is 95,700. Now, if you're thinking something along the lines of I'm so far behind that much I can't get more then it, and if I don't get more and don't get either of the rewards(party or books), why get more points?  Don't.  Though you may have forgotten, the winning tribe gets more then just those two things.  The members get freebies such as (and not limited to)free downloads to berinfell music, exclusive chapters long before the release of upcoming books(from WTB and CH).  So while you're doing this don't forget about the awesome other prizes!  That's all.  You've guys been awesome through this contest, I couldn't have done it without y'all.

Just a quick note

Just a quick note from a few requests. The top amount of points right now is 88k. I hope to post the total point count tonight or tomorrow. But I'm waiting until WTB at least posts the tribe leaderboard. So there ya have it!

Throwdown! Results

So, first, sorry that I never posted the results. Second, to the results. I'm not going to actually post who's winning and what their points are, but give the points of who is winning(without a name) I don't want people to get overly competitive and go against the winning person. So without further ado:

The total for the throw-down was roughly 120k! That means we got more than half what we already had! That's awesome tribe. So the highest amount that one member has right now is 81,000 points. And the top 5 people are as follows(in no specific order):

Whisper
TheAllebianKnight
Seth/Me
GoldArrow
Seventh Sleeper

But you've got to remember that the difference between the rest of the tribe and this group of five is very close.

Also, welcome Hark to Swiftstorm!

Tribe Report and 20K Challenge

First off, today's the report! So send in all your points officers. Secondly, as you saw in my last post, I'm kicking off the 20k challenge. So, in order to make sure we're doing it daily and keeping each other on it, I will be posting a post each day with how I got my points and my total points for that day. Anyone that's doing the challenge can then comment and say what they did that day. And, if you get behind one or more days, don't feel bad, just keep going, 18,000 is still really good, anything is good. So, that's just about it.

Point total and Mission

OK, so as our main thing in this tribe is the scorer who gets the most points is the person who gets the party or the books. So, I thought I'd say who has the most points right now and how many they have, to give you an idea of how much points you need to be the person winning.

1 Scorer: TheAllebianKnight/Jett Green with 58,000 Vanadils

OK, now as you may have noticed, while that is a lot of points, we need more to win. Like I was saying earlier, if we all get at least 20,000 points, we will be winning if not right behind! So, I've hatched plan THROW-DOWN. It spans from the day after tribe report 1/28/10 to the day of the report 2/07/10. It'll work like this, each person scores 2000 points a day. That's only 4 reviews, posting one review, or a number of things! And while that's quite a bit, if you span it out over 10 days, it's not too difficult and you end up with 20,000! So that's the plan, each day you score 2000 points for 10 days. Then comes the tallying, for this we will follow the same basic system.
You score the points up to the day of the report, 1/07/10, then you will create your report in the fashion of report model A at the bottom of the post and send that to your officer. Your officer, will in turn, simply take those reports sent to them and put them in model B at the bottom along with their report. After sending them to me I will add my points, and put them in the report and whoosh! Their off to WTB!
Note: If you do not have an officer, simply send the report to me, if you are wanting to give out your email, simply post the report here, and I'll put that in the report. If you have any questions, just ask here or send an email!

Model B:

Member's Points:
(You'll then Copy and Paste what that member gave you into this section)

Member B's Points:
(same as before)

And so on,

(then post the total for those members together)
Total_________

I believe that did cover all of it.

Also, welcome Dylan to Swiftstorm!

New year

OK, so as for those of you who have not been following up on the Underground Forum, we are doing a tribe project to get us motivated and to get more members. Here is a little teaser.
(sorry, there was a problem with the upload, please email me if you would like to view the teaser)
Also

Here are some sites that I've compiled to post reviews, which are the best ways to get points that I am aware of.

Now, one more thing before I get to the actual post for today, here is the list of top ten point getters. Because y'all keep getting more points I can't keep up with you and have the exact number of points or accurate top ten(these are as of about a week ago, so don't lose hope, I know as of a fact that this list has changed, but this I have not had the time to edit it sadly)

1. Whisper
2. Madeline
3. Theallebianknight
4. Storyteller
5. Goldarrow
6. Seth/me
7. Tel
8. Thomas
9. Rien
10. Natethegreat

Now, all that said, let's get some points! I am doing the 20k challenge, with those sites posted, I am going to try to get as many points as I can. The challenge is, with those review sites, to score 20k points by the next tribe report. Tough? Yeah, it is. But, I know for a fact that we can do it. Just think, if everyone of us gets at least 10k, we can be ahead of the other tribes and be in 1st! And not by a small margin too, more like a 50k margin. So, anybody up for it? I'm starting it tonight. Y'all ready?

Also, for the Swiftstorm PROJECT, I am putting out a request for anybody that has a great artistic talent, whether it be in music, drawing, or something else, that you email me, I'm wanting to get as much of the video to be original as possible. Also, if you haven't already, please visit the Underground(http://www.heedtheprophecies.com/theunderground) and look at the Swiftstorm announcements page and make sure you've done all that is asked.

Lastly, let's welcome bibledriller to the tribe! She has joined over this past week and is now in the tribe.
